Onboarding Your Organisation

Admin: completing the onboarding wizard

When a brand-new organisation signs up, the first admin user is taken directly to the Onboarding Wizard before they can access any other part of the dashboard.

What the wizard does

• Guides the admin through the initial configuration of the organisation (name, workspace settings, etc.).
• Once the wizard is submitted and onboarding_completed is set to true, all team members are automatically redirected to the main dashboard.

Rules

Who sees it	Condition
Admin user	Organisation exists but onboarding is not completed
Non-admin users	Redirected to the waiting page instead
Any user	If onboarding is already completed, the wizard page redirects back to /

Only the organisation admin can complete the onboarding wizard. Non-admin users must wait.

Non-admin: the waiting page

If you are not an admin and your organisation's onboarding has not been completed yet, you will see a waiting screen instead of the dashboard.

What happens on this page

• A friendly message tells you that your administrator is setting up the workspace.
• The page automatically checks every 10 seconds whether onboarding is done.
• As soon as the admin finishes, you are redirected to the main dashboard automatically — no refresh needed.
• You can also click Status aktualisieren (Update Status) to check immediately.
